JAIME & DOUG

You should know who we are by now, but here's some details you might not know

Our Love Story

Shortly before opening the first fitness center, Doug was on a mission to find the right person to manage the daily operation, when he stumbled upon a great resume for a Jaime Robinson. Unsure if the person in the resume was going to be a "jay-mee" or "high-may", Doug scheduled a call and after hitting it off, he hired Jaime during the first phone interview. Doug and Jaime ran much of the fitness center's operation together, and spent countless hours together at events promoting the business. The two shared a lot of similar interests and personality traits, but kept their relationship professional, until about 8 months of working together, when they couldn't hold back their feelings for each other.

Jaime routinely made attempts to spend one-on-one time with Doug outside of business events and the feeling was definitely mutual. Doug formally asked Jaime to be his girlfriend after a luxurious dining experience at DC Prime on April 1st, 2016, where the two ordered the most expensive champagne bottle on the menu (not a common move for the frugal Frantzen). Doug and Jaime moved in together just a few short months later, and continued to build on their relationship as well as their dual parenting skills of their dog daughter, Leala.

On April 1st, 2019, Doug took Jaime on a private charter boat to see the Cherry Blossom's from the best view in the city (on the water). Once the boat reached the beautiful landscape of the National War College, Doug got down on one-knee and asked for Jaime's hand in marriage. She said YES!

These two do everything together from working out and running a business to raising a dog. They're now looking to make their future lives together official by getting married in 2020.

We love and appreciate all of your support!
